Are you really doing agility drills?
Often I see a session where a coach has agility drills laid out with cones. However the distance to run between the cones is too long. An agility drill needs to focus on exactly what agility is; accelerating from a COD. I prefer to see an agility drill whereby there is only 4 athletes stride lengths between cones where COD is required. Do this drill for 20 seconds x 6. So you have 2 cones 4 strides apart and the athlete can figure-8 these cones.
